Launch of Real-Time Data Research
Center. The Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia has just
started a center for research using real-time data, and I am the
interim director of the center. I'll work on the center on a very
part-time basis to get it established, as the Fed looks for a
permanent director. The core of the center's work is based on my own
past research and the related research of other academic economists.
See the
center's web site for more details.

prepared for the EABCN's conference on Using Euro Area Data. Read
the paper here.
Paper on Data Revisions to PCE Price
Indexes
I presented my paper "Revisions to PCE
Inflation Measures: Implications for Monetary Policy" at the 2008
meeting of the American Economic Association; it was discussed in a
couple of blog entries on the Wall St. Journal's web site.
You can download the paper
