I have deleted these readings for a number of reasons. I try to keep the readings current, I removed an emphasis on social class and have combined it together with ethnicity and religion, and I have found other articles that I prefer. When I first chose these readings, though, I thought that they demonstrated how diversity issues were represented in a variety of academic disciplines as well as issue oriented magazines. I also believed that the articles showed a range of research methodology and content.
