MONEY MANAGEMENT

 

By signing the Money Management Agreement below, the sport club has indicated its desire for Recreation and Wellness to handle their sport club account(s) and have agreed to abide by the policies and procedures set out below; this includes accounts funded by the university and accounts funded solely by the clubs.

 

In order to do this, the clubs must follow all Recreation and Wellness/University guidelines and policies.

 

Only those members or officers who have successfully completed the on-line Money Management training course will be authorized to request deposits or withdrawals from sport club accounts.

 

All monetary transactions for Sport Clubs must be processed through the Recreation and Wellness Business Manager.  These transactions include but are not limited to the following:

 

Petty Cash Disbursements ($25.00 or less)

Check Requests

            Reimbursements

            Payments for Services

Deposits

Credit Card Purchases

Purchase Orders

On-Campus Charges (i.e. print shop, bookstore, van rentals; catering)

 

Under no circumstances will a club spend any of their funds without going through the Recreation and Wellness Business Manager.  This means that a club may not submit any of the above without the signature of the Recreation and Wellness Director/Business Manager.  A club that does not adhere to these policies and procedures will have their account(s) “frozen” by Recreation and Wellness until such time the Director/Business Manager have determined that they understand the consequences and will adhere to policies and procedures in the future.

By signing this agreement, I am authorizing the Recreation and Wellness Department to handle and maintain the

University of Richmond money accounts.  This would include not only accounts funded by the clubs but also accounts funded by the University. 

 

I agree to abide by all Recreation and Wellness/University money handling policies/procedures.  I am familiar with these policies/procedures and understand that any violation of these policies/procedures on my part or by any member of our sport club may cause the freezing of these funds until such time as determined by Recreation and Wellness.

 

I further understand that this agreement is in effect for the full school year ____/____.
