Challenge Discovery
programs are
designed to:
The Team Odyssey
is an amazing team and relationship-building program. Utilizing
a two-level
structure, located at the intramural fields, this program is
designed for
everyone! Groups
are divided into “pods” of four to eight participants who will
traverse multiple
team challenges anywhere from
20 – 35 ft. in
the air!
This is not an
individual event like many other challenge course activities. The
only
way to accomplish
these challenges is to embrace your team members and utilize
their physical
and cognitive abilities to solve problems and execute the plan - a
plan
which must
include working together to provide the support and stability needed
to
navigate through
events like the “Matrix,” “Complex X” and “Lateral Limbo.” The
Odyssey Course
forces people to step way out of their comfort-zone, appreciate
people they may
barely know and realize the awesome power of a high functioning
team.
Throughout the
program the Challenge Discovery staff will conduct short debriefing
sessions to help
the team look at their strategies and encourage them to set goals to
make each of the
next events even more successful.
At the end of
program we will take a few moments to reflect on the experience and
transfer the
learning from the course back to their real life environment.
