Ulifeline Information
Ulifeline was created by the Jed
Foundation, a non-profit organization committed to reducing the
youth suicide rate and improving the mental health support provided
to students by universities nation-wide. It was founded in 2000 by Philip
and Donna Satow, who lost their youngest son Jed, 20, a university sophomore
to suicide in 1998.
The Ulifeline website contains a variety of useful information, including;
"Campus Services", which is a link to the mental health services
available at UR.
A "Self-eValuator", created by professionals at Duke University (mental
health screening questions, which can be completed anonymously for
feedback).
A variety of other useful health and mental health information.
