Mission, Goals & Resources

Mission

Our mission is to support the on-going enrollment and retention of ethno-culturally and socio-culturally diverse American students at the University of Richmond. Through campus-wide collaborations between the Office of Multicultural Affairs and other University Departments and Student Organizations, we develop and implement diversity focused programs that are geared to enhance the overall personal development and growth of University students. Moreover, we promote and celebrate diversity in every facet of university life.

Goals

1. to increase socio-cultural and ethno-cultural diversity within the student body at the University of Richmond;

2. to provide social, educational, and emotional resources that support University efforts to retain multicultural students;

3. to support the University of Richmond’s institutional efforts to enhance diversity within the campus community
