University of Richmond has appointed new faculty members at its School of Continuing Studies

University of Richmond has appointed 19 people to the School of Continuing Studies faculty:

  • Mark R. Allan is adjunct assistant professor of education and earned his Ph. D. from Virginia Tech. He previously served as director of elementary instructional services for the Virginia Department of Education.

  • Peter G. Anderson is adjunct instructor of education and earned his master of mathematics degree from Virginia Commonwealth University.

  • Alan J. Briding is adjunct instructor of emergency services management and received his M.A. from Webster University.

  • Christopher Corallo is adjunct assistant professor of education and received his Ed.D. from Virginia Tech. He previously served as Henrico County Public Schools director of staff development.

  • Gale Cushing is adjunct instructor of education and earned her master’s of education from Virginia Commonwealth.

  • J. Kennerly Davis Jr. is adjunct assistant professor of paralegal studies and earned his J.D. from Harvard Law School.

  • Mary C. Fitzgerald is adjunct instructor of emergency services management and earned her master’s of public administration from George Mason University. She previously served as Fairfax County director of public affairs.

  • Gretchen Flynn-Morris is acting program coordinator, human resource management, and adjunct instructor. She earned her M.B.A. from the University of Denver.

  • Terryl Givens, professor of religion and English in the university’s School of Arts and Sciences, has received the additional appointment as adjunct instructor in the Master of Liberal Arts program. He earned his Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

  • John B. Halstead is assistant professor of paralegal studies and earned his Ph.D. from The University of Virginia. He previously served as director of the U.S Army’s Training Program Analysis and Evaluation Directorate.

  • Rebecca Z. Hodal is adjunct instructor of liberal arts and earned her management information systems degree from Virginia Commonwealth.

  • Mary Jo Mashlykin is adjunct instructor of liberal arts and earned her M.A. from City University of New York.

  • John McGinty is adjunct instructor of education and earned his master’s of education from University of Richmond.

  • William E. Price is adjunct instructor of emergency services management and earned his master’s degree from the University of Southern California.

  • Waide L. Robinson is adjunct assistant professor of education and earned her M.S. and certification of advanced study in educational administration from Southern Connecticut State University.

  • Simon Sibelman is adjunct assistant professor of history and earned his Ph.D. from Kings College, University of London. He was previously professor of French and Holocaust studies at University of Wisconsin, Oshkosh.

  • Mary Kelly Tate is adjunct assistant professor of paralegal studies and earned her J.D. from University of Virginia School of Law.

  • Shenita E. Williams is adjunct instructor of education and earned her M.S.W. from Virginia Commonwealth.

  • Vicki B. Wilson is adjunct assistant professor of education and earned her Ed.D. from The University of Virginia. She previously served as Director at VCU School of Education Associates.
