"The Real World" Star Danny Roberts to Speak at University of Richmond

Danny Roberts, gay rights activist and former cast member of MTV's "The Real World -- New Orleans," will speak on "Real World, Real Life, Real Issues" Oct. 7 at the University of Richmond.
Roberts, the third speaker in the 2003-04 WILL/Women's Studies Speaker Series, will talk at 7:30 p.m. in the Alice Haynes Room of Tyler Haynes Commons. The series' theme is ethics in a changing world. The event is free and open to the public.
During his season on MTV, Roberts openly discussed his sexuality and relationship with a U.S. Army officer. He now lectures regularly on college campuses and sponsors a Web site for young gay people throughout the country to communicate. He recently appeared on "Dawson's Creek" and "The Real World Road Rules Challenge."
