Accepted students to visit Richmond in April

An open house for accepted students and expanded visit days are designed to give the accepted student—who is choosing between Richmond and many of the most prestigious universities in the nation—a chance to fully explore our educational offerings and unique features. While students may apply to Richmond because of what they read in brochures, they choose to enroll at Richmond because of our rigorous academic environment, the many exciting opportunities that this community offers and because of you—the faculty, students and staff.

  • Open House for Accepted Students Saturday, April 16

The day’s events begin in the Robins Center with an academic symposium and registration, followed by panels, lunch in the dining center, student/parent forums and tours of the residence halls. Dia Lisner is the admission office’s coordinator of the open house.

  • Realize Richmond (new this year!) Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, April 4–22 (except April 13 and 15)

Realize Richmond will host mini-visit days for accepted students who cannot attend the open house on April 16. Students will have an opportunity to visit a 10:25 a.m. class, have lunch with students and admission officers in the dining center, take a tour of campus and visit other campus areas of interest to them. Kate Materna is the admission office’s program coordinator.

Mark your calendars to welcome and congratulate these accepted students. If you have questions, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at ext. 8640.
