Sheila Carapico, professor of political science, was quoted on Yemen leadership in the Pittsburgh Tribune Review.

Research on people's views of the deceased by Dafna Eylon, associate professor of management systems and psychology, and Scott Allison, professor of psychology, was featured in the December issue of Science.

Robert Shepherd, professor of law emeritus, was quoted on teen crime in the Charlotte Observer and by Knight Ridder.

Rod Smolla, dean of the law school, was quoted in the Los Angeles Times about free speech.

Porcher Taylor, associate professor of paralegal studies, was interviewed by CNN "American Morning," Fox News' "Dayside," ABC "Good Morning, America," and National Geographic Television, about satellite imagery in the search for Noah's Ark.

Carl Tobias, professor of law, was quoted about the Moussaoui case in The New York Times, Newsday, The Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, The Nation, Minneapolis Star Tribune, Associated Press and National Public Radio's "Talk of the Nation" and "All Things Considered." His comments on the Vioxx case appeared in The Washington Post and Forbes.com, and a letter to the editor about domestic surveillance appeared in The New York Times. His comments on the Blackberry case appeared in Scripps Howard News Service, Providence Journal and Financial Times. He was quoted on wiretaps by the Christian Science Monitor.

The University of Richmond was mentioned in a Wall Street Journal editorial about Afghan women studying in the United States.

A University of Richmond Law School course on malpractice was the subject of an article by the Associated Press and The Chronicle of Higher Education.

Sydney Watts, assistant professor of history, was quoted in Slate Magazine about eating meat on St. Patrick's Day.
