2008 Distinguished Educators

Seven Richmond faculty members received the 2008 Distinguished Educator Award at colloquy. The award recognizes full-time professors for “a consistent record of outstanding contributions to excellence in education.” Recipients were (from l.) Robert M. Schmidt, professor of economics; Michael C. Leopold, associate professor of chemistry; April L. Hill, associate professor of biology and The Coston Family Fellow in Molecular Biology; John Paul Jones, professor of law; Mari Lee Mifsud, associate professor of rhetoric; Daniel M. Roberts Jr., associate professor of liberal arts; and Al Goethals, professor of leadership studies and The E. Claiborne Robins Distinguished Professor in Leadership Studies.
