Common Ground Action Committee invites community to lunch

Have you wondered what the Common Ground Action Committee is doing this year? Do you want to learn more about the progress of the University’s diversity initiative or have ideas to share with the committee? If so, please consider joining members of the committee for informal luncheon discussions in the glassed-in meeting room of the Heilman Center. After you purchase your lunch, come join the group in the meeting room, which is located just behind the cashiers. No reservations are required. Lunch meeting dates for spring 2008 are Feb. 27, March 20 and April 17. All begin at 12:30 p.m.

If you’ve visited the Common Ground online discussion forum lately, you’re not alone 

Common Ground’s online discussion forum has been hopping, far exceeding the staff’s expectations. Since its launch in October, the forum, titled Common Ground Discuss!, has had nearly 5,000 page views. Designed to foster community dialogue around issues of diversity and inclusion, it appears to be catching on.
