Speaking across Centuries

Dancers with the University’s Ngoma African Dance Ensemble performed Feb. 2 at the opening of the Harnett Museum of Art exhibit, “A Slave Ship Speaks: The Wreck of the Henrietta Marie.” In addition to a reception and viewing of the exhibit, Guthrie P. Ramsey Jr., associate professor of music at the University of Pennsylvania, gave a lecture, “Can the Object Speak?”
