Common Ground Corner

Open houses, a brown-bag lunch discussion, diversity resource fair and University-wide celebration all were a part of Commitment to Common Ground Week Oct. 30–Nov. 1. Approximately 20 organizations offered information on how to get involved with diversity issues during a diversity resource fair held at the Forum. Glyn Hughes, director of Common Ground, moderated the celebration ceremony, with President Bill Cooper and Provost June Aprille speaking.

The resource fair offered information from approximately 20 campus organizations.

D'Squad, the University’s first hip-hop organization, opened the celebration with a performance.
