Modlin Center - SCS Open House

Dan ZanesA 'Zany' performance

Dan Zanes and Friends performed twice Oct. 7 as part of the 10th anniversary celebration of the Modlin Center for the Arts and the School of Continuing Studies’ Office of Community and Professional Education. A community open house included an instrument petting zoo, clowns, face painting, balloon art, mask decorating and more.

To mark their 10th anniversaries, the Modlin Center for the Arts and the SCS Office of Community and Professional Programs threw an open house Oct. 7. In 1996 the University’s impact on the local community took two new turns with the opening of the $22.5 million Modlin Center and the establishment of the Office of Community and Professional Education. The Modlin Center attracts more than 100,000 people annually to its performing and visual arts events, and OCPE touches tens of thousands of non-credit students with its Think Again courses.
