The Washington Post also quoted him about the possibility of journalists being prosecuted for writing articles containing classified information. His comments about federal prosecutors charging a man who was providing access to a Hezbollah television station appeared in The New York Times.

Carl TobiasCarl Tobias, professor of law, had his comments about executives backdating stock options and jurisdiction in a lesbian custody case quoted by the Associated Press.

Tobias’ comments about transfer of privacy-rights lawsuits to a federal judge in San Francisco were printed in the San Francisco Chronicle. He was quoted in Las Vegas Review-Journal about the Yucca Mountain nuclear waste repository. The New York Times quoted him about federal authorities blocking the return to the U.S. of two relatives of a father and son convicted in a terrorism-related case.
