Business Challenges in Contemporary Society to be Topic of Panel Discussion

A panel of corporate leaders will discuss challenges to business leaders in the midst of calls for greater accountability and higher standards of ethical conduct Oct. 11 at the University of Richmond.
The program, “Leadership Challenges Facing Corporate Society,” will look at business in contemporary society at 4:15 p.m. at the Modlin Center for the Arts.
The panelists will be Eva S. Hardy, senior vice president of external affairs and corporate communications for Dominion; William R. Johnston, former president of the New York Stock Exchange; and W. Thomas Matthews, former president and CEO of Global Private Client Group with Smith Barney, New York.
The event is sponsored by the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and the Robins School of Business. The panel discussion will be followed by a question-and-answer session and a free reception.
