1st District Council Candidates Will Take Part in Forum at University of Richmond's Jepson School

The five candidates for the 1st district Richmond city council seat will take part in a forum sponsored by students at University of Richmond’s Jepson School of Leadership Studies Oct. 25 at 7 p.m.

Paul Goldman, Mark Pounders, Bruce Tyler, Tom Vance and Dan Wilkins will field questions from the students about city policies relating to both the university and the local community. The portion of Richmond’s campus that lies within the city limits is in the 1st district.

The students, members of professor Tom Shields’ Leadership in Political Context class, arranged the candidate forum, which Shields will moderate. The forum will be held at Jepson Hall, Room 120. Admission is free and open to the public.
