University of Richmond Alumni Association elects new members and 2008-09 executive committee; six are from greater Richmond

The University of Richmond Alumni Association board of directors has elected new members and its 2008-09 executive committee.
Elected to three-year board terms that begin July 1 are:
- Craig Flinn of Summit, N.J., a 1987 graduate and managing director of Euro Brokers/BGC Partners in New York. Flinn previously served on the university's annual fund steering committee, reunion giving committee and the Richmond Council.
- Samuel Kaufman of Richmond, a 1999 graduate and partner of the Richmond law firm Owen & Owens. Kaufman previously served a term on the board.
- Brandt Portugal of New York, a 2002 graduate who works for Citigroup. Portugal has served on the Richmond Council and in the alumni admissions program.
Elected to the executive committee for one-year terms beginning July 1 are: Jasmonn M. Coleman of Richmond, a 1998 graduate, president-elect; Carla M. DeLuca of San Francisco, a 1993 graduate, vice president for communications; Kaufman, vice president for finance; Betty Ann A. Dillon of Richmond, who earned a bachelor's degree in 1948 and a master's in 1949, vice president for programs; Kelly M. Gribbin, Chicago, a 2002 graduate, vice president for membership; Ken Kraper of Boston, a 2005 graduate, vice president for university relations; Nancy Heilman Cale of Powhatan, Va., a 1975 graduate, secretary; and Ryan FitzSimons, of Chicago, a 2001 graduate, treasurer.
Tripp W. Perrin, a 1995 graduate, is president. Patricia Dann Loyde, who earned a bachelor's degree in 1992 and master's in 1997, is immediate past president. Both live in Richmond.
