Pulitzer Prize winning poet Charles Wright to read from his works at University of Richmond Nov. 6

Charles Wright, Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award poet, will read from his works at the University of Richmond on Nov. 6 at 7 p.m.

Wright won the National Book Award in 1983for "Country Music: Selected Early Poems" and the Pulitzer in 1997 for his collection of poetry, "Black Zodiac." In 1993, he received the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize for his lifetime accomplishments.

Wright is a chancellor of The Academy of American Poets and is the Souder Family Professor of English at the University of Virginia. He has published 18 books.
