University of Richmond associate professor named to Style Weekly's Top 40 Under 40 list

University of Richmond associate professor Doug Hicks has been named to Style Weekly magazine's Top 40 Under 40 list of young men and women who are transforming Richmond.

Hicks teaches in both the Jepson School of Leadership Studies and religion department, and he is founder and executive director of the university's Bonner Center for Civic Engagement. At the CCE, he leads a number of academically grounded initiatives to connect the campus and metropolitan community.

A Harvard University graduate, Hicks was ordained a Presbyterian minister before joining the university. Author of two books and various essays, he is currently writing a book on religion in public leadership.
