Richmond Boys Choir to Sing America at University of Richmond

The Richmond Boys Choir will perform two concerts on May 12 at the University of Richmond.

"The Richmond Boys Choir Sings America" concert will take place at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the Modlin Center for the Arts. Selections will include "America," "Star Spangled Banner," "Battle Hymn of the Republic," "Lift Every Voice and Sing," "God Bless America" and "America the Beautiful."

Tickets are $20 in advance or $25 at the door for adults and $10 for children both in advance and at the door. Adult groups of 10 or more are $15.

Founded in 1996, the Richmond Boys Choir is known as "Richmond's Ambassadors of Song," having performed in Kansas City, Kansas; Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; Fayetteville, N.C.; and on NBC's "The Today Show" in New York City. Its members come from Richmond and surrounding counties and range in age from 7-17.
