UR Downtown to hold three community open houses

UR Downtown, the University of Richmond's new downtown center, will hold three open houses for community members to tour and learn more about the facility.

ocated at 626 E. Broad St., the center will be open to anyone interested in seeing the facility March 16 and March 19 from 2-4 p.m., and March 18 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Registration is not required, and refreshments will be served.

The center houses three university programs: Richmond Families Initiative, which connects Richmond students with nonprofit partners for community-based learning, research and service; The Harry L. Carrico Center for Pro Bono Service, which provides free legal service in cases of domestic violence and no-fault divorce; and the Family Law Clinic, a partnership with VCU to provide legal, mental health and social work services.
