University of Richmond Career Development Center reschedules "Landing a Job in a Tough Economy" for March 23
March 10, 2009
Nearly every week, area companies announce closings, bankruptcies and employee layoffs. In a poor economy, how will displaced employees find new jobs?
The University of Richmond's Career Development Center will host a program March 23 to assist people who need to find a job in a tough economy. Free and open to the public, it will be held at 6 p.m. in Jepson Alumni Center's Robins Pavilion. The program was originally scheduled for March 2 but was cancelled due to inclement weather.
Bud Whitehouse, owner of Career Management of Virginia, will give tips and tactics job seekers can use to help them land a job in today's market.
Space is limited. To reserve a seat, contact the center at cdc@richmond.edu or (804) 289-8547.
