University of Richmond Names Tim Roberts Director of Publications and Marketing

The University of Richmond has named Tim Roberts director of publications and marketing. Roberts will head the department responsible for producing internal and external university publications. He will also work on advertising and strategic marketing planning for the university.
Roberts was creative director of The Bergman Group, a marketing communications agency in Richmond. While there, he set strategic direction for a broad range of communication projects, including publishing, brand identity, Web sites, direct mail, new product development, special events and advertising. He previously worked in design and art direction for Tuff Stuff Publications, Hamilton Beach/Proctor-Silex and James River Corporation.
Roberts holds bachelor's and master's degrees in visual communications from Virginia Commonwealth University.
