PROGRAM INFORMATION:
The University Wind Ensemble's annual spring concert will feature soloists Jennifer Lawson on the flute in "Concertino" by Keith Gates and Michael Davison on the trumpet in "American Jazz Suite" by Allen Vizzutti. Lawson is a university flute instructor and flutist with the Richmond Symphony, and Davison is a university trumpet instructor and Jazz Ensemble director. Other program pieces are Aaron Copland's "Outdoor Overture"; Mark Camphouse's "Watchman, Tell Us of the Night"; Philip Rothman's "Monument Fanfare and Tribute"; and Henry Fillmore's "Rolling Thunder March."
