PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Vladimir Feltsman arrived from Russia in 1987 and quickly established
himself as a major pianist in America. During his Richmond engagement,
Feltsman will host a piano master class with university music students.
The class is open to the public. Call the Department of Music at
287-8277 for more information.
Feltsman's performance will include selections from Bach's "Partita No. 1 in B-flat Major, BWV 825" and "Partita No. 2 in C Minor, BWV 826." He also will perform three selections from Chopin: "Two Polonaises, Op. 26"; "Barcarolle in F-sharp Major, Op. 60"; and "Ballade No. 4 in F Minor, Op. 52."
