University of Richmond graduate selected for regional leadership award

University of Richmond spring 2007 graduate Jaime Settle of Tucson, Ariz., was named the 2007 Region 1 Leader of the Year for Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership honor society.

Each spring, the national group selects a leader from each of its four U.S. regions. The regional leaders are considered for the fraternity's National Leader of the Year Award.

Inducted in spring 2006, Settle served as president of the University of Richmond chapter for the 2006-07 school year. She graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science. Settle will begin a doctoral program in political science at University of California, San Diego next fall.
