PRSA-Richmond and Jepson School of Leadership Studies Offer Local Non-Profit Leaders Free Media Relations Workshop

Metro Richmond editors, reporters and public relations executives will
give their advice
about "Soundbites, Headlines and Slow News Days: How Nonprofits Can
Get the Most Out of News Coverage," a free half-day workshop for
local non-profit leaders July 23 at the University of Richmond.
The program, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America-Richmond Chapter and the university's Connect Richmond program and Jepson School of Leadership Studies, takes place 8 a.m.-noon in Jepson Hall.
Mark Hubbard, former local television news anchor and now media specialist and public relations officer of Virginia Credit Union, will moderate discussions. Speakers will include print, broadcast and new media representatives of the Richmond Times-Dispatch, Style Weekly, Richmond.com and WWBT-NBC 12 and others.
