July 24, 2002

The University of Richmond has been selected for inclusion in the 2003 edition of "The Unofficial, Unbiased Insider's Guide to the 320 Most Interesting Colleges."

The annual college guidebook was written by Trent Anderson and Seppy Basili and published by Kaplan, the educational publishing and training corporation. Colleges and universities are chosen based on surveys of guidance counselors, college students, institutional data such as enrollment and selectivity, and current events at each college.

The book praised Richmond for offering "exceptional academic programs set in a comfortable and beautiful environment."
