University of Richmond Police Chief Wins International Award

Robert C. Dillard, chief of the University of Richmond Police Department, has won the President's Award from the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators.
Dillard received a plaque last month in recognition of his "contributions to the campus law enforcement profession" at the organization's annual conference in Cleveland. He also received the award in 1995.
Dillard is chair of an IACLEA committee that is developing accrediting standards for campus law enforcement agencies and public safety and security departments.
The University of Richmond in 1990 became the first private university in the nation to be accredited by the Commission of Law Enforcement Agencies.
IACLEA has 1,000 institutional and 1,600 individual members located in the United States, Canada, Australia, Europe and elsewhere.
