Professional Squash Tournament to be Held at University of Richmond

The 2006 Virginia Professional Squash Championship (sponsored by Davenport & Co.) will be played Feb. 1-4 at the University of Richmond.

Thirty of the world's best players will be featured, coming from Australia, Egypt, England, Scotland, Canada, Africa and South America, including John White, who is a former world No. 1.

The matches will be played in a portable all-glass show court erected in the Tyler Haynes Commons overlooking Westhampton Lake. Matches will begin at 5.30 p.m. most days and end at about 9 p.m.
