Kaine and Other State Officials to Discuss Budget Crisis in Forum at University of Richmond School of Law

Lt. Gov. Timothy M. Kaine will headline a panel of state officials discussing "The Virginia Budget Crisis: The Impact" Jan. 23 at the University of Richmond School of Law.

The 6 p.m. forum will be held in the Moot Court Room and is free and open to the public.

Joining Kaine will be W. Tayloe Murphy Jr., secretary of natural resources; Whittington W. Clement, secretary of transportation; and Peter A. Blake, deputy secretary of education for higher education and the state library. Jeff E. Schapiro, political writer for the Richmond Times-Dispatch, will moderate.

The symposium is sponsored by the Richmond Journal of Law and the Public Interest in conjunction with the Virginia Bar Association Law School Council.
