PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Ute Lemper is best known for her bold interpretations of composer
Kurt Weill and the French repertoire of Piaf and Prevert. She also
starred as Velma Kelly in the hit Broadway musical "Chicago."
Her Richmond engagement is in conjunction with the Marsh Art Gallery's
current exhibition of depression-era American photography, "Lewis
Wickes Hine: The Final Years."
This program replaces the concertised version of "The Cradle Will Rock" originally scheduled on February 2.
