PROGRAM INFORMATION:
Clarinetist Ilene Stahl's world-beat band plays original arrangements
of Klezmer and Mediterranean tunes in a style that mixes zydeco,
funk, New Orleans second-line, rockabilly, cumbia and Balkan brass
band surf music. Stahl previously performed at the Modlin Center
with the Klezmer Conservatory Band.
This concert replaces the Kol Simcha performance originally scheduled for this date. Kol Simcha cancelled their U.S. tour.
