"Dateline NBC" correspondent Chris Hansen to speak at University of Richmond

"Dateline NBC" correspondent Chris Hansen will discuss his career in investigative journalism Feb. 9 at 7 p.m. at University of Richmond's Camp Concert Hall.
Hansen, best known for hunting online sexual assailants in his "To Catch a Predator" episodes of "Dateline," will discuss his career. Winner of seven Emmy Awards, he has used hidden camera reporting to investigate identity theft, counterfeit prescription drugs in China, child sex trafficking in Cambodia and slave labor in India's silk trade.
Prior to joining NBC News, Hansen was a news anchor for the NBC affiliate in Detroit. Earlier in his career, he was a reporter for several radio stations and newspapers in Michigan.
Richmond College, Richmond Quest, UR Cultural Affairs Committee, Modlin Center for the Arts and the university's journalism department are cosponsoring the event.
