University of Richmond Names Linda Evans Media & Public Relations Specialist

The University of Richmond has named Linda Evans to the newly created position of media and public relations specialist. Evans is part of a team responsible for publicizing university events, providing faculty experts as commentators for the media, and writing news and feature articles for distribution to the media and in university periodicals.

Evans most recently was co-owner of The Solution Group, a public relations and marketing firm, and also worked the past six months as a part-time writer/editor in the university's communications office.

She holds a B.A. degree in journalism from the University of Richmond and previously worked as public relations director at Randolph-Macon College.
