ROBERT F. KENNEDY JR. TO SPEAK AT UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will speak on "Protecting Urban Waterways" on March 7 at the University of Richmond.
His speech is part of the "Views and Voices on the City" series sponsored by the Jepson School of Leadership Studies. It will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Modlin Center for the Arts.
Kennedy, a lawyer and professor of law at Pace University, is co-author of "River Keepers," a book about the growing movement to protect waterways. He also is president of the Water Keeper Alliance and the chief prosecuting attorney for fishermen on the Hudson River and senior attorney for the National Resources Defense Council.
"Fresh air and clean water are of greatest value to a community," he says. "A good environment is the basis of a good economy."
Tickets are free and available by calling 289-8980. Non-ticketholders will be seated at 7:30 p.m. on a space-available basis. In addition, run-over seating with big-screen TV will be available.
Kennedy will sign his book after the lecture.
