AUTHOR STEVEN NOCK TO SPEAK ON FAMILY TRENDS AT THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND

Steven Nock, author of "Marriage In Men's Lives," will speak on "Changes and Trends in the American Family" at the University of Richmond on Feb. 27.

The free public lecture, sponsored by the Department of Sociology and Anthropology, will begin at 7 p.m. in Jepson Hall, Room 118.

Nock graduated from Richmond in 1972 and teaches at the University of Virginia, where he is director of the Marriage Matters Project and co-director of the Center for Children, Families and the Law. He has published numerous books and articles on marriage and the family, winning the William J. Goode Book Award from the American Sociological Association, Family Section, in 1999.
