Wang, a native of Taiwan, holds a Ph.D. in political science from the University of Chicago. He has appeared on National Public Radio, PBS' The NewsHour with Jim Lehrer, C-SPAN, and the Voice of America, and testified on China's military development. He has published numerous articles, book chapters and op-ed pieces on issues related to Chinese politics, China-Taiwan relations, the Asian political economy, and U.S. policy toward Asia.
