Walden holds a B.S. from Virginia Union University, an M.S. from Syracuse University and a Ph.D. from Virginia Commonwealth University. He is a licensed CPA in Virginia. Walden has published articles in The Accounting Educator's Journal, Advances in Accounting Education and Journal of Accounting and Public Policy. He teaches courses in accounting information systems, e-business and financial and managerial accounting.
