Radice holds a B.A. from Wittenberg University and a Ph.D. from Yale University, where he studied cell and developmental biology. He has been a NASA research fellow and a Danforth Graduate Fellow, and was appointed a Faculty for the 21st Century, Project Kaleidoscope. He has written numerous publications and received many grants to support his research, the most recent being a NSF grant for "Laboratory investigations using quantitative microscopy," awarded in 2002.
