Jones holds a B.A. from Marquette University, a J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law and an LL.M. from Yale Law School. He attended the Naval Justice School, the Tactical Action Officer School and the Navy Fighter Weapons School (TOPGUN). He teaches admiralty law, administrative law, military law, comparative constitutional law and administrative law, among other courses. In addition to teaching at Richmond Law School, he has been a consultant to the World Bank, a visiting scholar to the CIA and a constitutional advisor to the American Bar Association's Central and East European Law Initiative.
