Joe B. Hoyle is author of seven editions of an advanced accounting textbook, seven editions of an audit practice textbook and two editions of a fast-track CPA exam review book. He holds a B.A. in accounting from Duke University and an M.A. in business and economics from Appalachian State University. He has taught at the University of Richmond since 1979, and has been named the university's distinguished educator five times.
