Harrison holds M.B.A. and Ph.D. degrees from the University of Utah and received a B.S. degree in finance from Brigham Young University. He is author or co-author of seven books on strategic management and mergers and acquisitions. He has taught strategic management at all levels from undergraduate to Ph.D. and organization theory, management decision analysis and management principles at the undergraduate level. Harrison also has served as a consultant to such companies as Lockheed Martin Aircraft, G&G Advertising, Southdown Inc. (the largest domestically-owned producer of cement in the United States), Lockheed Space Operations and Volvo.
