Dolan holds a bachelor's degree from Hobart College and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees from Rutgers. His research interests include benefit/cost analysis and evaluation, and economics of education. He has published papers in Journal of Economic Education, Quarterly Journal of Business and Economics and Evaluation Review, among others. He has received several outstanding teacher awards.
