The author of two economics textbooks, Croushore holds M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in economics from The Ohio State University and an A.B. in economics from Ohio University. He served as economist and vice president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and formerly taught at Penn State, Johns Hopkins, Princeton, Temple and the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. His textbook, Money and Banking: Policy Connections, was published in 2006, while Macroeconomics, co-authored with Andrew Abel (Wharton) and Fed chairman Ben Bernanke, is in its fifth edition.
