Modlin Center for the Arts Announces Additional Capitol Steps Performance

Due to the immense popularity of Capitol Steps on Saturday, October 16, 2004 at 7:30 and 9:30 pm, with our on- and off-campus patrons, the Modlin Center for the Arts has arranged for an additional performance on Sunday, October 17, 2004 at 3 pm.

The Capitol Steps, the only group in America that attempts to be funnier than the Congress, is a troupe of current and former Congressional staffers who monitor events and personalities on Capitol Hill, in the Oval Office, and in other centers of power and prestige around the world and then take a humorous look at serious issues while providing a nationwide laugh for millions.

Tickets will go on sale to the public on September 10 for all three performances. Tickets can be purchased through the Modlin Center Box Office at (804) 289-8980 or online at http://oncampus.richmond.edu/modlinarts. Tickets are $30 for adults, $28 for seniors 65 and over, $15 for children 12 and under, $22 for UR faculty/staff and $5 for UR students.
