Jeffrey Sonnenfeld to Discuss CEOs and Boards at University of Richmond

Jeffrey A. Sonnenfeld, author, researcher, media spokesperson and expert on leadership, will speak on "CEOs and Boards -- What Makes Great Boards Great" at 12:30 p.m. Sept. 8 in room 101 of the Robins School of Business at the University of Richmond. He will discuss his research on board dynamics.
The talk, including a box lunch, is open to the public at no charge, but seating is limited.
Associate dean for executive programs at Yale University's School of Management, Sonnenfeld is founder, president and CEO of the Chief Executive Leadership Institute in Atlanta, a Yale-affiliated center dedicated to the advancement of management education. He formerly taught at Emory Universitys Goizueta Business School, where he founded the Center for Leadership and Career Studies. He also was a professor at Harvard Business School for 10 years.
Sonnenfeld received A.B., MBA and DBA degrees from Harvard. He has received numerous awards and fellowships and has authored five books on such topics as career management, executive training and development, and corporate social performance.
