University of Richmond Career Development Center opens employer registration for fall career and internship fair

April 15, 2009

The University of Richmond Career Development Center is accepting employer registrations for its Sept. 25 Career and Internship Fair. At the fair, companies and organizations can promote job and internship opportunities to Richmond students and alumni.

"This is one of our largest events, and attending organizations have great success connecting with and recruiting our students and alumni," said Leslie Stevenson, CDC director. "Even if your organization doesn't currently have openings, I would encourage representatives to attend to build awareness about their organizations in anticipation of future openings."

Registration costs $350, which includes booth space and reservations for two people. Discounts are available to organizations returning from 2008 and for those that register by Aug. 14. Nonprofit organizations can attend for $99.

The fair will be held from noon-4 p.m. in the Robins Center on campus. Last year, more than 70 employers and 385 students attended.
